- The second lecture
in the ' Lecture series-75th Anniversary of Transistor Invention' on the topic
"High-Performance Mixed Signal System-on-Chip (SoCs) - Pivot to
Digital" will be delivered by Mr. Saj Kapoor, Senior
Director, Analog Devices, Bangalore on 14th October 2022 at 3 PM at ECED
Seminar hall, Block II (Old Architecture Hall, Opposite Auditorium) .
- Representatives
from Aspec Scire (https://aspecscire.com/), a
drone-based data acquisition and analytics company are visiting our campus
on the 12th and 13th of October 2022. They are represented by one of their
co-founders Mr. Anand, their chief AI/ML engineer, and Mr. Madhav (our alumni).
- The First lecture

"Physics at High and Low pT at the LHC" will be delivered by
Roshan Mammen Abraham, Oklahoma State University (Ph.D.) on 6th
October 2022 at 4.30 PM at ECED Seminar hall, Block II (Old Architecture
Hall, Opposite Auditorium.
- Dr. Sathidevi P. S,
Professor in ECED and Deputy Director NIT Calicut, received the Prof K M
Bahauddin Award for the Distinguished Engineering Teacher of Kerala 2022.
She received Rs 1 lakh, a citation, and a memento.
- After many years of
contributing to the institute, Sri. Anandan K. R (Senior Mechanic) and
Sri. Venugopal K. P. (Instructor) from ECED retired on 31st May 2022.
- Dr. S M Sameer has
been selected as the secretary, IEEE in Region-10, Asia Pacific.
- Dr. Chandan Yadav
and Dr. Lintu Rajan have found their places on the Golden List of Reviewers for
2021 for the “IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON ELECTRON DEVICES” with their tremendous
efforts in reviewing content, enabling the publication of high-quality papers
